Failing Retaining Walls Can Be Stabilized or Straightened with Dwyer's Helical Anchor System
Retaining walls often times fail due to shifting & moving soils. Dwyer's pre-engineered round-shaft piers provide tremendous tension & lateral support, and our piers can be grouted for even greater support.
Once the helical piers are installed to the proper depth, threaded bars and plate steel caps are used to secure the pier to the wall.
The wall and the tieback are tensioned to one another to stabilize and/or straighten the wall. Additional tension can be applied to the tiebacks in the future should shifting occur.
